Hello world!

By heartgalleryblog

Alison Bartram in balloonsWell, where do I start folks? I’ve grabbed a black coffee and a big fat cream cake to sit down and take my first steps into a new world and it is pretty daunting to say the least! A good friend is holding my hand as he eases me gently into alien territory but at some point I will have to jump straight into the deep end alone! It’s a good day to start the Heart Gallery blog…the sun is shining, Christmas is just around the corner and I’m feeling confident about the future. I have been on an incredible journey over the last few years; sowing the seeds of Heart and watching it grow has been amazing and the support received overwhelming. For those of you out there who have been lucky enough to visit Heart Gallery here in Hebden Bridge then you have already experienced what I am proud to have created – a contemporary jewellery and craft gallery with a warm and welcoming ambience. When you open the big black door of this former Baptist Chapel you step into another world, one which is adorned with pink chandeliers and gold cabinets and where delicate scents envelop you as you browse.

Thanks, always welcome in Heart – avoid Monday and Tuesday as we are closed to the public so we can have a week-end!
