Having graduated in 3D Design from Manchester Metropolitan University, Amy now designs and makes jewellery in her new workshop in Manchester; sharing her studio with other artists Alena Asenbryl and Laura Richardson.
Amy also uses her metal work skills learned whilst working as an armature maker at Mackinnon & Saun producing stop-motion animation puppets – seen in films such as The Corpse Bride, Fantastic Mr Fox, Frankenweenie and ParaNorman.
Amy’s Rosebud Collection has arrived just in time for Valentine’s Day. Roses are perfectly suited to jewellery, being ancient symbols of love and beauty. Amy’s delicate paper roses are hand painted in a variety of bold colours.
The enamel paint used is oil based which strengthens the paper and makes them waterproof. They are attached to a stem of silver which points the flower to its optimum viewing position, ensuring the rose is seen in its full bloom and showing off its flash of colour.
Heart Gallery adores Amy’s Rosebud Collection and hope that you do too.
