Natasha is an artist and illustrator working from her studio in the beautiful coastal county of Suffolk. She also spends a few months of the year in Paris, dividing her time between the two places.
Through art Natasha explores a love of birds, nature and astronomy, conveying the magic and beauty that surrounds us every day. Inspired by the form and simplicity of the winter landscape, she often paints scenes that reflect where she would like to be and tends to use colours that evoke a strong memory or feeling, making the work symbolic and slightly dream-like.
Natasha has exhibited with many galleries throughout the UK, and her work has been selected several times for major shows in London, including winning an award at The Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours Annual Exhibition. Natasha currently has her work on display on a permanent basis with the Serena Hall Gallery in Southwold, Suffolk and Snape Maltings Gallery, Suffolk, as well as taking part in group and solo exhibitions at venues across the UK and abroad.
In recent years Natasha’s work has gained a large international following and she now sells to collectors all over the world, with paintings and illustrations in around 20 different countries.
Natasha regularly accepts fine art painting commissions and illustration work; her art has been used by the book publishing company Random House for a series of five books by the author Jorge Bucay, on the front cover of Resurgence & Ecologist magazine (Jan/Feb 2014), by Moo Print Ltd on a selection of business cards and stationery, and to illustrate various magazine articles and CD covers.
A collection of Natasha’s painted stones were featured in the March 2012 issue of Homes and Gardens magazine in the UK. Heart Gallery is proud to once more bring you a small showcase of Natasha’s canvases and stones.
