Well this project was just a seed at the beginning of the year after attending a meeting with Welcome To Yorkshire about the Tour De France Stage 2 heading through Hebden Bridge on 6th July. It’s now nearly complete but as always … we left it late #lastminute.com! Enjoy the little photo montage of our creation:
This is a condensed version of the process it took from buying 200 metres of yellow ribbon to yarnbomb around the silver birch in the garden to the final result to celebrate Le Tour de France in Yorkshire. This included adding some felted yellow cycles to the bunting on green grass to represent Yorkshire in all its glory. We were pleased with the finished result and we have had loads of comments since completing so thank you everyone for all of your support.
