Sarah graduated in 2010 from Winchester School of Art in BA hons Textiles, Fashion and Fibre, specialising in Textile Art.
Now based in Surrey, Sarah makes all her creations in her home studio which is a hoarder’s paradise – filled with buttons, threads and fabrics galore!
Her main passion in life is being environmentally-friendly, so she endeavours to make pieces as eco-friendly as possible by using found & re-used fabric, recycled board, and biodegradable packaging.
She loves the hunt for finding second hand fabrics, from car boot sales to charity shops, often using old items of clothing.
Sarah creates original sewn pieces that are inspired by nature. They are all unique pieces are made with the intention to adorn interiors with the beauty of the outside environment.
For our Summer 2015 Exhibition THE WAY THROUGH THE WOODS Sarah has made us some gorgeous textile brooches.
We love her new collection of birds for us and hope that you do too.
